About S.W.A.T.

The primary goal of SWAT is to decrease the number of drivers under the influence of alcohol in the San Marcos community. The organization will strive to establish a beneficial program that is rewarding to both its users and its members.

SWAT believes that it is a student’s choice whether or not to drink alcohol. SWAT hopes students will drink responsibly and never drive while intoxicated.

S.W.A.T.'s Mission

SWAT will provide a safe and reliable service, free of charge, to Texas State University-San Marcos students, within the San Marcos community, who are intoxicated and/or to students unable to drive due to other circumstances.
