The MIP/Alcohol Awareness class is offered by the ADRC for students who have received a sanction from Texas State University | San Marcos or have been referred by a judge for an alcohol-related ticket. Prospective students are to appear in person at the ADRC, LBJ Student Center room 5-4.1, at least 24-hours prior to the first class date for enrollment purposes.

The class is filled on first-come-first-serve basis with a maximum capacity of 25 participants and a minimum enrollment of 3. Participants are strongly urged to come into the ADRC office as soon as they are made aware of the requirements. Classes fill quickly and once capacity is reached, participants must enroll in the next regularly scheduled class.

The MIP/Alcohol Awareness class involves an exit interview which is scheduled with prospective students at the time of enrollment. The scheduled exit interview is noted on the participant's registration form.
